SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

 

Bilbul Public School is concerned with learning about the natural and made environments by investigating, designing, making and using technology.

 

A "hands on fun approach" is at the core of our curriculum, where children are actively involved in research and experimentation that leads to learning whilst having fun at the same time.

 

The major content strands of Science and Technology are:

  • the built environment
  • information and communication
  • living things
  • physical phenomena
  • products and services
  • the earth and its surroundings

Students enjoy the hands on activities and also the excursions that are part of the Science and Technology Program at Bilbul Public School.

Students K-6 participate in excursions relating to units of work being covered in class.  Excursion destinations vary from year to year.  Bilbul PS has a cyclic excursion plan that relates to their Human Society and It's Environment or Science and Technology Units.  To find out more about excursions click here.
